It’s hard to imagine a time without the incredible music of OneRepublic. The band, made up of Ryan Tedder, Zach Filkins, Drew Brown, Brent Kutzle, and Eddie Fisher, have been a staple part of our lives since they burst onto the scene in 2007 with ‘Apologize’.
Since then, the five-piece have gone on to achieve global success, with one of their highlights being their mammoth Native World Tour, which travelled across five continents between 2013 and 2015. One of the landmark performances from the tour was their show at The Ticketpro Dome (then known as The Coca-Cola Dome) in Johannesburg, South Africa in front of 20,000 fans.

Wikipedia says that Feel Again
is a song recorded by American rock band OneRepublic for their third studio album Native (2013)
was released to iTunes on August 27, 2012.
But it took almost 4 months for it to be released. Here’s some steps of this “journey”.
When we first heard of Feel Again:
The members of OneRepublic were enjoying Berlin’s famous Christmas market on Sunday. On Monday, a truck drove into the crowd at the market, killing 12 and injuring an additional 50. It’s no wonder why the band is now stepping up to help those affected.
A rep for the band confirms to ABC News that through their Good Life Foundation, OneRepublic is donating 100,000 dollars to the families of the victims of the attack. The donation was made through a German non-profit, Weisser Ring, which offers financial, medical, legal and personal support to crime victims. The group is also asking others to donate on the charity’s website.
Lead singer Ryan Tedder tells Rolling Stone, “We hope these funds can help rebuild the lives of those affected by the Berlin attack and encourage everyone to help in any way they can.”
Dubbed ‘the undercover king of pop’ by Billboard magazine, Onerepublic’s lead singer Ryan Tedder has also written hits for Beyoncé, Adele, Taylor Swift and more. He tells Grazia about some of his top collaborators…
‘When I write for someone else, I assume their personality. My first question is always, “What are you listening to?” Taylor is so smart and savvy, so you have to keep pace. When we wrote Welcome To New
York, she was listening to a lot of stuff from the ’80s and she wanted that sound. I brought a 1984 keyboard and started playing the opening chords. She was just like, “That’s it!” It was simple.’
‘Beyoncé has passed on more hits than you can imagine and no melody or famous producer means a thing to her. She is all about the lyrics: it has to be honest and raw.
Halo was written in a few hours, but I wrote XO imagining myself as Beyoncé, looking out and finding one person in a crowd. I got inside her head, and she took it because it was something that she truly felt.’
‘With Ariana, I know she wants to showcase her vocal range. I once wrote her a song that came into my head in a gift shop in Iceland. By the time I’d gone back to the hotel, I’d written the chorus and we recorded it that day. People ask me if I have a formula. I don’ don’t, but with Ariana there is a trick. If I can figure out what key her voice sounds most electrifying in, I know it will work.’
Onerepublic’s new album Oh My My (Polydor) is out now
This is the music that helps OneRepublic get the party started at home! There’s tunes from Christine & The Queens, Tom Odell and Drake.
